| Life after Deaf workshop - Fire Safety and Awareness |
The Sounds Right ‘Life after Deaf’ project is a programme of themed workshops which are being developed, delivered and run in response to the identified needs of people with a range of hearing loss – this includes people who are hard of hearing right through to those who are profoundly deafened. One of the indentified areas of concern is Fire and Home Safety and in response to this we are working in partnership with the Humberside Fire & Rescue Service to deliver a morning of awareness training.

| Sounds right AGM 2011 |
Sounds Right held their Annual General Meeting for 2011 on 12th November 2011. The meeting was very well attended.
There was a demonstration of Electronic Note Taking in action throughout the meeting and a talk on Personalisation by Rani Rooke, the Personalisation Manaqer for Adult Social Care Services at North Lincolnshire Council.

| Life After Deaf workshop - Lip Reading Workshop |
The Sounds Right Life After Deaf project is a programme of themed workshops which are being developed and run in response to the needs of people with a range of hearing loss from our community – this includes people who are hard of hearing right through to those who are profoundly deafened.
This project has been made possible with funding support from North Lincolnshire Homes.
Please follow this link for an information flyer about a free learning workshop event that Sounds Right are running in October as part of their ‘Life After Deaf’ project.

| Subtitled films at Parkway Grimsby |
We have received the following information about subtitled films which will be showing at the Parkway Cinema in Grimsby:
This is to inform you that we will be offering subtitled performances at the Parkway in Cleethorpes. Generally there will be a performance on Tuesday evenings, around 6-00pm, selected from the current releases. Together with a “U”, “PG” or “12A” certificate, on Saturday mornings.
The titles will be presented in screen 4, which also has wheelchair access and audio description.
The information will be on our website www.parkwaycinemas.co.uk and in our press advertising.
We welcome feedback in respect of the new releases selected for screening.
